Urgently Seeking Programmer for Dictionary Databases and Text Processing

The CJK Dictionary Institute has an opening for a programmer with experience in text text processing and/or database management to support dictionary databases. The principal activity of CJKI is the compilation of large-scale CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and Arabic lexical resources for a wide array of business applications. 

The ideal candidate should have over three years of experience with Python (or equivalent). (Experience in developing mobile apps is also desirable). This is a fascinating job, especially for language lovers, that requires creativity, the ability to manage multiple projects, and good teamwork. A native Japanese speaker, or a non-Japanese with good working knowledge of Japanese, is required. The person must also have at least an intermediate level of English.

Please note: This position is in Saitama. Only applicants living in the Tokyo area (or willing to relocate) will be considered. Working remotely, except occasionally,  is not possible. Note that full-time is desirable but part-time might be possible.
