Overview
CJKI’s Chinese-Japanese Database of Place Names (CJP) is the world’s largest Chinese-Japanese bidirectional database of place names, covering 100,000 entries in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
CJP includes various data fields such as readings in pinyin, zhuyin fuhao, hiragana and romanized readings, frequency rankings, semantic classification codes, locale codes, orthographic variants, and other useful information such as frequency statistics.
